Tuesday April 7th FAU welcomed our president Barack Obama to FAU in Boca Raton. Students were overjoyed as president Obama walked across the stage at about 3pm just before he delivered his speech to the public. We honestly felt like it was a great day to be an OWL.

Sometimes when time flies you really have to wonder where does it really go. It’s only been 3 months since I’ve collaborated with Merline aka Mimi to launch Mimi’s Corner. At the same token she launches For the Women By the Women Book club at the same time The CCWC NETWORK was making its debut. Yet 2 days ago she launches her ultimate pride Mimi’s BoutiQ.
In a perfect world perhaps little Maloue would have found love long time ago, having to be fortunate enough to get an education from abroad and rubbing elbows with the rich and famous. Alas her heart has been imprisoned without the possibility of parole due to a series of unfortunate circumstances.
Being natural has become the trend nowadays, I still remember the days where straight hair was the norm, growing up in a country where the colonized mentality reigned among all social classes.
Warning I’m about to get super excited about this blog and I have a good reason why…Proud moment here…I look awesome…though yes I will admit I was styled by Mimi from Mimi’s Corner, I could not come up with an outfit like that in less than 4 hours….but daaaaaaang baby girl look good!!!!
