Ed “Nolu” Noel
Last night was probably one of the nights that I took a moment to realize how big certain things can become. I have been on the set of the 5 Sur 5 show , landing a hand to Director/producer Ed “Nolu” Noel, witnessing every moment of the rise of the so called Caribbean 106 & Park. A show so well needed in this community, a live production accompanied by DJ Mac, hosted by beautiful Marilyn De’ and now joined by exquisite Jessica Hazel.
If you haven’t watched the show yet then you are probably missing out. Though it may be online for the moment it has every potential to become a hit on broadcast television, uprising stars have shared the stage, celebrities have shared the stage and I have no doubt in my mind that one day major names in the industry will also share this stage. Ed has demonstrated the true meaning of Faith consistency and hard work as Spokenreasons would eloquently put it. He started with nothing but one camera and blind faith that his idea will work. 4 seasons, 5 different hosts and 2 change of locations later he is still making it happen.
I would like to take this moment to recognize Ed for showing us that no matter how hard the storm hits, following your dream is not an easy task but by the grace of God and hard work with absolutely no doubt in your mind, you can achieve great things.
