This is one of the moments that pride has certainly taken over me, we are undeniably making our mark in the world as Haitians. Initiated last year, the project has impressively shed more light on our dear country in so many positive ways:
“The Haiti Week Committee charged with organizing and implementing all aspects of Haiti Week, is made up of representatives from the business and not for profit sector. All the charities involved work directly on the ground in Haiti and are headquartered here in Ireland.[…]The objective of this gathering of people and organizations is to stimulate ideas and generate funds to assist Haiti’s development. This development is viewed by the committee on both a humanitarian level and also to facilitate the country’s prosperity in terms of business and investment.”
