Free Expression has always been my motto, but I get a greater satisfaction when I’m able to provide an avenue for my audience to express themselves because really it’s not about me but about you the audience. This next piece entitled “Where did Momma go wrong with you?” is by an extremely talented young lady that I had the privilege to see perform one night, surprisingly her performance still remains so fresh in my head, with an unforgettable stage presence she silenced a room with such a projecting voice. Ladies and Gentlemen I give you Zazou:
Momma said we had to stick together
How did we end up in different ends of the world?
I know she ain’t happy
Cause it rains every time I visit her grave
Yet we’re drifting apart
Cause I can’t stand to be around you
And sometimes I wonder

We’re so different you and I

And I am always out of it
Not willing to give in
And allow some men to walk all over my heart
And when you call me with tears in your eyes
Even though I can’t see your face

Struggling with life
Trying to find happiness
Thinking it exist in a man

That there is more to life than sex
And there is more to sex than a simple orgasm?
Because once he gives you his loving

Once it’s all said and done
You lend flat on your ass
With no him to catch your fall
