Swimsuit craze!!!

Summer time is on it’s way and my dear Blog contributor could not be any righter than this Please read on:

*****************************

She wore an itsy bitsy, teeny, weenie, yellow polka dot bikini…. Remember that cereal commercial about the young woman who was eating right in preparation for that faithful beach day that would be just around the corner?  Well this is the 2011 version.  My swimsuit of choice is  not teeny weenie, nor is it polka dot, but it is FIERCE!!!

I actually keep a photo of it as a visual reminder of why I’m pushing myself the extra mile, walking that extra lap and walking AWAY from the bakery section at the grocery store.

What’s your motivation?  Share with your friends, keep a picture of it on you, or better yet print it out put on your wall, your fridge, somewhere so you can have a mental reminder as to what you are striving for.  I have a cruise coming up at the end of this year and I hope to rock my swimsuit!  Another goal I’ve set for myself is to learn how to FINALLY ride a bike.  Yes I know, me a grown non bike riding female.  Once I pick up this skill though I hope to add it to my exercise routine.  Is there something you want to learn that can make breaking a sweat fun?  How about kayaking, swimming (that’s on my list too), or even dance lessons.  If you can have fun and workout at the same time, you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to shed off those excess pounds.  I’ve got my motivation for MY next 30 days.  I hope you have yours!!

Yours in Health,

Cynthia Jean

Start with healthy, high protein low carb breakfast. Eat small healthy meals through out the day. Exercise at the very least, 30 minutes after your main meal. Piece of skinless chicken with leafy greens. Drinks lots and lots and lots and lots of water. and Green Tea.

Mack, thanks for the advice. G.M I love the MonifC creations as well. You’re absolutely right, they can be pricey, but the trick is to join their emailing list. They’ll send you email notifications for upcoming sales or even the word of the day to call the boutique and get free shipping or whatever incredible offer they’ve come up with. Hope that helps you for your next purchase with them.

I enjoy working out and keeping a size 2 but darn it despite it all I am seeing size 6 in the horizon and am not loving it….just the same, whatever the size I am, I do not like bathing suits…PERIOD lol My faves: weight lifting, spinning (and running cause I have to grrr)

I like a nice lounging robe on the beach, because sun and I do NOT mix. I get burned easily so hell nah, no swimsuit for moi at all
