When you reach a certain age in life you are asked yourself , what is my purpose? why do I exist? Then suddenly this light bulb comes on and the Holy Spirit opens your eyes to what your path should look like….and I really think this is it…create a sisterhood among women.
Last night has been probably the best night of my life I was able to see smiles on women’s faces making a difference. 7 beautiful women participated in the 5 Sur 5 TV show : Jessica, Tamara, Kathiusca, Ashley, Kimberly, Doris and Mouseline.They’ve strutted their tail feather on the runway, they’ve come out of their shell and made a statement. The purpose of this appearance was not to turn these women into models far from that, but instead to teach them they can be beautiful and confident no matter who they are.
How many times have we looked at ourselves in the mirror and said I don’t like what I see.?! Not a positive comment right…well you should have seen these girls ..THEY WERE GORGEOUS!!!!!
My message to each and everyone of them is this: ..I am so proud of you, all of you. You’ve subliminally sent a message to the world that younger generations can benefit from. We’ve created a sisterhood with an unbreakable bond, such a necessity in our community, and you’ve proven that no matter what you put your mind to nothing is impossible.
I knew that creating the CCWC NETWORK was not going to be an easy task but I have a vision and through you I know I can make this vision become reality.
I also would like to thank Mimi who’s been a trooper since day one, she has truly shown her leadership skills throughout this journey and has proven to me that indeed women can work together to achieve great things.
Last but not least thank you Guerda Pierre from Lordana Designs, who humbly worked hard at making my girls look the way they did last night.
We have so much more in store for you and this is just the beginning. Again a big thank you to all those who participated in yesterday’s project and the best is yet to come.

I could be myself around you guys and the other girls. I didn’t have to worry about myself, my size, nor about judgements. It is very hard to find inspiring people like you and Mimi. You guys are truly what our community need. People like you guys help thick girls stay away from committing suicide,because they do not feel “abnormal”. I felt accepted,important, and gorgeous !!!-
