Let me say this is probably one of my proudest moments here. Yes I did it on purpose. This is the same dress I wore a year ago on the set of my show at the Haitian museum at the design district. I’m so happy I can’t find the words to express myself. I’m looking at this picture and I’m amazed…I don’t look that pregnant anymore…yaaaay..lol
HARD WORK PAYS OFF PEOPLE!! this is the proof. Now , like I mentioned in my first post about my decision, and how I was going to keep my promise well do you see the proof now. (I’m sorry I’m still excited about this)
I will be honest with you, this is the outcome of waking up every day for the past month at 6AM and heading to LA Fitness. (I take a break on Sundays) but check this out. Very important for you to know, I AM NOT DIETING. besides I love food, I come from a country where the food is excellent so how can I deprive myself of food. Now here is what I’ve changed:
1- I am taking vitamins, very important for the body. Just because I eat doesn’t mean I”m getting all the necessary nutrients
2- I eat more often, yes exercise will make you hungry..OMG I”m hungry all the time it’s crazy, but instead of eating big portions I eat smaller and at least 5 to 6 times a day. My snacks are usually fruits also I eat grilled instead of fried and veggies, veggies, veggies, these things will flush your system like no tomorrow!
3- I tell myself it’s not about losing weight, besides believe it or not I gained 2 pounds. but that’s 2 pounds of muscle. The more I say it’s about being healthy, the longer I want to do this. I don’t go up the stairs panting anymore, I’m not a runner so I don’t do treadmills but I prefer endurance machines like the stair master for example.
4- I don’t quit. I make it part of my everyday routine so that I don’t feel it’s an obligation.
Having your health is probably the best gift God could ever give you. So cherish it with lots of love…less grease and more veggies!!!..lol. It took me a minute to realize without my health I can’t function. I will keep you updated on my journey to looking thick girl sizzlin’ hot LOL!!
