Loin des yeux..Loin du coeur!! (what the eyes don’t see the heart doesn’t feel.) a great way to describe the hidden talents of our community, but I have to applaud the efforts of those who shine the light on our local talent. As Jimmy Moise Founder and President of Le P’ti club was celebrating LE P’TI CLUB DAY in Miramar proclaimed by the mayor last year in recognition of all past work in culture and promotions of the arts in Miramar, I was proud and privileged to be there to cover such event.
Accompanied by Jacqueline Arnoux and Maggy Prezeau of the Community Access Center, the artists and young children sure had a voice that night. I had the pleasure to speak to Sean Glenn, painter, and find out more about his joy and inspiration behind his work. I also met Robin White…I think they should have a different name for people who are able to capture the human caricature with such exactitude such as her. I also had the pleasure to see children at their happiest…showing the world what they are capable of, showcasing their talent through dance choreographed by Nolwen Lalane .
My dear friends from Party Room Squad also exhibited their new theme for the year…it was a day of art and fun…all by people who only ask to be heard and seen. They may not be TV starts but they take pride in their work. I want to also take this time and congratulate and thank Jimmy Moise for being such an active member of this community in terms of paving the way for known and future artists for the past decade.
Despite the weather being super hot and a lot going on around me I had a lot of fun talking to everyone!!! Here is a little snippet of your up close and personal segment with yours truly!

haha thank you Kenold…I think Jimmy didn’t publish it long enough or something but I thought it would be a great idea to see what is being done in our community…I really appreciate it!!!
