Astounded by the overwhelming joy that I felt, witnessing my people’s expressive creativity through a carnival of colors in honor of the 3 day extravaganza which is the “Carnaval Des Fleurs” in Haiti, done in Port-au-Prince, the capital. This will serve as Haiti’s first carnaval following the earthquake as earlier this year its location was in “Les Cayes”.
I truly want to say the people of Port-au-Prince could not wait for this to happen, the feeling is never the same when custom is broken, however this definitely brought back a sense of home to the carnival lovers of the country.
My heart fluttered as these pictures went viral over the internet. Therefore I felt it was my duty to share what I call “Once in a lifetime Fashion that will last forever”
